A musical jellyfish art car to delight festival goers.
A rag tag crew of artists and engineers lovingly built a whimsical jellyfish art car that had its maiden voyage on the desert sands of the Burning Man festival in Nevada.
GOLF CART, MEET JELLYFISH
We built the jellyfish dome out of rings of PEX tubing and attached it to a golf cart with reinforced bamboo poles. I selected an assortment of foam and fabrics to decorate the cart to resemble a coral reef.
TENTACLES AND LED LIGHTS
We crafted layers of tentacles by covering plastic tubing in fabrics. Our team engineers programmed LEDs to flash and transition colors on the jellyfish top and throughout the tentacles.
